The Sweetheart Dress by P4P

Have you ever seen a dress and just knew you just HAD to have it? I’m in a ton of Facebook groups and I was lead to the Patterns for Pirates group because of this dress. It can be made up fancy, or kept simple.  Then I happened upon some beautiful fabric from an online FB group: The Purple Seamstress.  Then I just knew the two were meant to be 🙂

Making it was awesome: There aren’t a lot of pieces (5), and I used scuba knit, so I didn’t have to hem the bottom, it’s a circle skirt so that one easy cut.  This pattern is totally a 10! The only part that was time consuming (if I can even say that) was the FOE (fold over elastic) on the stretch lace.
